Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya

Tuesday / 13 October 2020

Please take note that the Government of Malaysia has announced that Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya will be placed under a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO). This has been put in place following the increase in COVID-19 cases in several districts within the Klang Valley.

The CMCO will begin from midnight, 14 October 2020 until 27 October 2020.

During this duration, travel across districts will not be permitted. If travel is required for work purposes, a work pass or letter from an employer will need to be produced.

All schools and places of worship are to be closed. Recreational activities such as sports and social activities including weddings will also not be allowed.

Please do not approach the UNHCR Office until further notice. Individuals with appointments will be contacted and provided with a new appointment date.
