New Operating Hours for Registration Hotline

The operating hours for the Registration Hotline have been reduced to one day per week.

Starting Monday, 02 February 2026, if you applied for new registration or family inclusion before 1 Jan 2023 and have not received an appointment yet, you may call the Registration hotline available as below.

 017-6143810 (No WhatsApp call please)
Between 2PM – 4PM
Only available every Wednesday

 Before you call, please note the following reminders:

  1. Do have your Refugee Malaysia website reference number ready.
  2. The Hotline is only for Refugee Malaysia applications made before 1 Jan 2023.
  3. Only call on Wednesdays between 2 PM to 4 PM. If you can’t get through to the Hotline, try again the next week.
  4. UNHCR continues to give appointments via phone call, SMS & email based on your online application and eligibility — this Hotline is not the only opportunity to get an appointment.
