UNHCR has learned of scam in which victims are requested to pay money to help refugees or asylum-seekers transport valuable luggage to a supposed UNHCR warehouse. Scammers often use fraudulent documentation using featuring UN or UNHCR logo to make the request appear legitimate and convince the victims.
