UNHCR has seen fake UNHCR hotline numbers being shared on social media. UNHCR has two official hotlines – Detention (only for detention related calls) and Registration (017-6143810 Wednesdays 2-4 pm). All other numbers being shared as UNHCR hotlines for Registration or Resettlement are fake. Please do not use them.
Please remember:
- UNHCR will never ask you for money.
- No one can obtain UNHCR documents, facilitate access to UNHCR processes, or fast‑track your case in exchange for payment.
- Do not pay money to anyone offering such services.
- Do not share your personal information with individuals claiming they can influence your UNHCR case.
