Please be advised that all individuals wishing to meet UNHCR Malaysia are required to have an appointment.
Exempted from this requirement are those individuals who already hold a UNHCR card or other UNHCR document. They may come to UNHCR without an appointment for the purposes of:
- Inclusion of new born babies.
- Report of lost cards.
- Documents renewal.
Individuals can request for an appointment with UNHCR online starting 2 December 2019, Monday, using the this link on the Refugee Malaysia website.
This is a new website that UNHCR Malaysia is testing, where soon refugees will be able to access information they need on protection and assistance services. One of the first functions of the website that will be available online is the request for appointments.
Please note that the website link is currently in English. We are working on expanding to other languages in the near future.
All requests sent in will be processed by UNHCR. However, because UNHCR receives hundreds of emails each day, please be patient if you do not receive an immediate reply.
If you have already sent one appointment request, please do not send another one again as it will cause further delays in scheduling your appointment.
